What is SINALGAN®?
.
N-ACETYL-GLUCOSAMINE (NAG)
CHONDROITIN SULPHATE
Is another class of Glycosaminoglycan expressed in the articular cartilage. Chondroitin Sulphate contributes to the elasticity of cartilage and inhibits its degradation by lytic enzymes (Elastase and Hyaluronidase). Current scientific evidence agrees on the effect of Chondroitin Sulphate and N-Acetyl-Glucosamine in improving joint function in patients with Oteoarthritis
METHYLSULFONYLMETHANE (MSM)
Is the natural form of organic sulfur. Because of MSM’s sulfur content, it is used by the body to maintain normal connective tissues. Moreover, MSM provides a natural anti-inflammatory action (NO GASTRIC DAMAGE) as it reduces the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and lytic enzymes that destroy articular cartilage. For these reasons MSM supplement could contribute to reduce joint pain and stiffness in patients with Osteoarthritis.
BOSWELLIA SERRATA
SILICA (SiO2)
Is the organic form of Silicon. Adequate amount of Silicon in the joints is important to ensure the synthesis of Collagen and Elastin: the former acts as a scaffold which supports cartilage tissues, whereas the latter gives the cartilage its elastic characteristics. Silicon is also important for bone health as it promotes bone mineralization processes.
VITAMIN C (100% RDA)
Is a powerful endogenous antioxidant. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation, necessary for the normal function of bones, cartilage and skin.

N-ACETYL-GLUCOSAMINE (NAG):
is one of the most important precursors for the synthesis of Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), the main constituents, together with Collagen, of articular cartilage, tendons and ligaments. NAG is also a basic component of Hyaluronic Acid, one of the most represented GAGs in the articular cartilage. Several studies have shown that the administration of NAG in patients with Osteoarthritis could slow down the cartilage degradation process, “integrate” the loss of articular cartilage and, at the same time, have a moderate anti-inflammatory effect.

HOW TO USE
It is recommended to take one sachet a day, 30 minutes after breakfast/lunch. Pour the contents of the sachet into a glass and then add water. Mix very well for about one minute until completely dissolved. The eventual precipitants in the solution don’t affect the quality of the product but are due to the natural characteristics of its constituents.
